The Kashechewan Health Services (KHS) provides a wide range of health services that serve the people of the Kashechewan. We provide and promote community wellness, healing, and health services and programs incorporating mental, physical, spiritual, and emotional well-being while maintaining and respecting traditional/cultural values.

Home and Community Care

The Home and Community Care are responsible for assisting clients and their support systems in maintaining the highest possible level of independence and functioning in the least restrictive environment within the community setting.

The Home and Community Care Program conducts comprehensive clinical assessments, assists in the development of service plans, works with their staff and Nursing services, monitors services provided, reassesses clients routinely, and discharge plans. The Home and Community Care Program is responsible for implementing the above responsibilities in a cost-effective and integrated manner.
